Organization Overview

The Learning Center at The Lexington School serves students in grades 1-8 with average to advanced cognitive abilities who present with dyslexia or other language-based learning differences. A "school within a school" for students who struggle with reading, writing, listening, expressive language, and executive function skills, TLC strategies are grounded in the science of structured literacy. In a warm and nurturing environment that instills trust and motivates courage, students find academic confidence, and as valued members of The Lexington School community, TLC students engage in an integrated and well-rounded education that elevates and celebrates their social, emotional, and physical development. The Learning Center at The Lexington School is a unique and life-changing experience.
